Frequently Asked Questions About RV Rentals

Q. What are the driver requirements?
The primary renter must be at least 25-years old, have a valid driver's license with no major violations on their driving record and a major credit card in their name. Additional drivers must be at least 25-years old, and present their valid driver's license in person at the time of unit pick-up. Credit card and identification will be verified at pick-up.

Q. What are your Rental Center office hours?
You may check availability and reserve an RV by phone or in person, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. No Saturday or Sunday departures. NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY RETURNS! All return check-ins and refunds will be processed on the following business weekday.

Q. How do I pay for the rental?
All payments must be using a valid major credit card that's imprinted with the name that matches the driver's license and listed on the contract as the primary renter or additional authorized driver. No exceptions!

Q. Where can I drive the units?
Some travel restrictions may apply. You can drive anywhere in the Continental US, but units may not be taken outside of the country.

Q. How will I know how to operate all the appliances and electronics that an RV comes with?
A thorough walkthrough is provided upon checkout. Expect to spend approximately 45 mins on this walkthrough.

Q. Is a down payment or security deposit required?
A deposit of 50% of Total Rental Due is required to secure the reservation. Reservations must be made at least seven (7) days prior to departure. The remaining balance is due at the time of departure. In addition, a $500 Security Deposit is due at the time of departure. Cancellations made 31 or more days in advance will receive a full refund less $100.00. Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to pick-up will forfeit full deposit.

Q. Do I provide my own insurance?
Yes, Renters must provide proof of insurance through their own auto/personal carrier. Make sure that you have notified your insurance agent of your intention to haul the travel trailer. You have been advised by your agent that your liability and property damage insurance covers the risks of loss or damages to the trailer vehicle interior and exterior and your risk of liability for injury or damage to others or their property and that your insurance policy has been endorsed accordingly. Proof of insurance will be required. Your deposits may be credited against rental charges due us.

Q. What cleaning options do I have when I return the RV?
The vehicle is expected to be returned clean (both interior and exterior). A fee up to $250.00 will apply if units are returned dirty or if evidence of pets or smoking is detected. The black and grey holding tanks are empty at departure and must be returned empty. A minimum $35.00 service fee will apply if tanks have to be dumped. Gas and propane tanks are full at departure and must be returned full. A $25.00 service fee plus prevailing fuel rates will apply if they are not.

Q. Can I smoke in the RV?
NO! SMOKING IS ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. If evidence of smoking is detected, a $250.00 additional cleaning fee will apply.

Q. Can I bring my pets in the RV?
NO! PETS ARE ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. If evidence of pets is detected, a $250.00 additional cleaning fee will apply.

Q. Can we use the roof to transport luggage or to get a better view?
Ladders on rental units are for use by the dealership technicians only. Customers are not allowed on roofs and will be held responsible for any roof or awning damage.

Q. What happens if I receive a traffic ticket or parking citation?
Customers are responsible for reporting and payment of all parking and traffic violations at rental termination. Non-reporting of parking and traffic violations breaches the Rental Contract.

Q. What constitutes a "Rental Day"?
Similar to a hotel, the Rental Day is based on the number of nights the vehicle is out.

Q. What is the rental unit return policy?
Rental units must be returned between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on the scheduled return date. Keep in mind other renters may be waiting for the return of your RV and returns after 4:00 pm are subject to a late fee of $25.00 per hour. Additional days may be leased but only with prior approval. There are no refunds or credits for early returns.

Q. Besides the rental cost, what other charges will I incur?
The unit must be returned in the same condition as when it was received (excluding normal wear). Any damages, repair costs, additional fees, cleaning fees, etc. will be charged to the rental customer prior to security deposit refund. Awning usage could result in a loss of security deposit. Damages or loss of equipment will be billed at repair or replacement costs. Holding tanks must be emptied or be subject to a minimum $35 dump charge. Insurance costs are also an additional charge through your personal carrier. All fees are subject to a State tax of 8.75%.
